The Allinsons

Meet the Allinsons

The Allinson Institute is a family business, founded by Bryan and Sarah with the help of Russ and Amy Allinson, Bryan's parents.  Soon Bryan's sister, Kara, jumped on board to help with fundraising efforts.

Russ and Amy moved to Florida from Pittsburgh in 2002, along with daughters Kara and Kate.  Russ worked in the corporate world until founding his own company, Therigy in 2005.  Russ and his business partner created a successful specialtiy pharmacy company which they sold in 2019.  Russ and Amy planned to settle into retirement, but soon realized they wanted to help start an autism school for their grandson, Finn.

Bryan and Sarah Allinson moved her in 2017 for Bryan's job.  Finn was only 2 1/2 at the time and autism was no where on the radar.  By 3 1/2 Finn would be diagnosed and life would change drasitically for Bryan, Sarah and their other two children.  Bryan works at Adventhealth while Sarah works part-time doing bookkeeping, but her full-time job is taking car of Finn and managing his needs along with taking care of their older two children, Jacob an Sadie.

Kara Robertson moved here with her parents as a junior in high school and attended Uinversity of Florida.  Shortly after graduating she moved to Washington DC where she met her husband, Chuck.  Before their first daugher was born they relocated to Witner Park to be closer to Russ and Amy.  Kara worked for University of Central Florida for several years as the Director of Fundraising.
